Graduation Requirements

English 40: Semester Units
Mathematics: 30 Semester Units - Including one year of successful completion of Algebra I and one year of successful completion of Geometry (20 semester units in 2011/12 and prior years)
Physical Education: 20 Semester Units unless the student has been otherwise exempted pursuant to other sections of the Education Code
Science: 20 Semester Units

* 1 year Biology/Life Science (10 semester unit)
* 1 year of Physical Science (10 semester units)

Social Science: 35 Semester Units Including all

   of the following:
   * United States History and Geography (10 semester units)
   * Civics and American Government (5 semester units)
   * Economics (5 semester units)
*World History, Cultures, and Geography (10 semester units)
* Skills for Living (5 units)

Fine Arts or Foreign Language: 10 Semester Units
Health (5 units)
Life Skills (5 units)

* Math/ELA
* Family Life & Parenting
* Consumer Education

Elective Courses: 35 Semester Units

In addition to the course requirements indicated above:
- Students must complete 20 community service/volunteer hours for a nonprofit organization(s) according to standards established by school administration.
